Well, as you can see, I have Siri installed on my iPhone 4. I installed the certificate through i4siri, checked settings, etc. This is all I’m getting. Anyone else encounter this issue?
unlock5 (by samuelb82)
Hey guys..Hackarella here. I may have some pretty reliable instructions for those of us on 5.0.1 (on either the iphone 4 OR the 4S as video shows) Of course, this is probably a temporary, desperate choice to obtain a carrier unlock (specifically AT&T to T-Mobile) - especially if you’re like me, and have an ineligible baseband for use with Ultrasn0w or Gevey SIM (such as 04.11.08)
Now, keep in mind that this method is NOT an official unlock - it’s merely a glitch in this particular verson of ios 5’s activation process. I wouldn’t count on it to be a permanent solution - maybe just to have something while we await thie “maybe, maybe not” Ultrasnow or Gevey software unlock.
I can tell you that, this week alone, I have attempted every unlock method or myth and none even came close to what they claimed. It just so happened that a little while before I saw this video, I was working on the exact same process with the Gevey Ultra SIM. I was actually able to get all the way to the last step of activation, turning off automatic carrier search and all, but once I would choose T-Mobile, the signal would drop.
Right off I noticed a few things that he mentioned in the video that weren’t in Gevey’s written guide - or Gevey misinformed me of all together.
Example: Gevey never once mentioned the need for a currently active AT&T SIM. I have the original, but it was suspended upon contract termination. Strike 1.
Strike 2: Gevey said to turn off Wifi and choose forget network, however, they failed to mention turning Location settings off as well They both use wifi signal to locate).
Anyhow, I’ll let you guys watch the video. I’m going to try this again. I’m willing to put money on it being successful. Happy hacking, peeps!
[Tumblr]: [JailBreak Nation] Gevey is now offering a new SIM interposer that will allow for the Unlock of the iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0 and 5.0.1 with the basebands 1.0.11, 1.013, 1.0.14. Gevey is a well known brand as they were the first to start physical sim unlocks, opposed to the TPSIM that we reported upon earlier. Gevey is also a better alternative as the price for the Gevey http://bit.ly/yFdhD8 #jailbreak #iphone #iOS
[Tumblr]: [AppleSheet]: As we know Apple is going to launch the most awaited iPhone 5 in this year. Ciccarese Design have created a mockup of iPhone 5 which looks like teardrop-shaped. You can see the images of teardrop-shaped iPhone 5 mockup posted below. From the images, you can see the…
I got my hands on an iPhone 4 - for a shamefully low price too, I might add ;) This will be my first attempt at jailbreaking AND unlocking this model, as I’ve had the 3gs up until now. I used ultrasn0w for the original process with the 3gs,and again when upgrading to ios 5.0.2 from 4.3.3 a few months ago.
Being entirely self-taught and having no prior experience whatsoever, I was genuinely surprised at the lack of issues I encountered. I’ve since repeated the process several more times successfully. Since I’m familiar with the ultrasn0w method, I didn’t think twice about using it on my iPhone 4.
That is, until I did me research on the Gevey sim method.
I’ve never even seen one and haven’t been able to contact anyone who has gone this route to verify it’s success, but I am awfully curious. Do any of you have first-hand knowledge or experience with it? Please contact here or email me at beentherehackedthat@gmail.com if you have any information that would be useful to me. I want to get started asap.
Thanks in advance,

I’m sure you know by now that there has been alot of Siri servers/proxys have been going around that allow non-iPhone 4S users to authorize and use Siri. It is not stated however, how they go about doing this. Thus, in this step-by-step guide you will learn how…
